Whether it's custom-developed systems, platform integration or application modernization, as a JavaScript Platform Developer at IFS Ultimo, you work together within the team to create features in our cloud-based web application.

As a Platform Developer, you will be working on improving our low-code platform, which is used by other teams to build modules. You introduce new concepts to make our low-code platform even better.

During your career with us, you will work on our user-friendly and efficient application. You implement front-end business logic and help improve our in-house developed JavaScript framework.

About our software stack

The IFS-Ultimo application consists of various services that have been developed in C#. Together they form the back-end. The front end is written in JavaScript. We are soon migrating to Typescript. Here we use our own web framework. The current generation of the application runs on Azure Kubernetes. We use various cloud native techniques to offer a stable and scalable platform. Xamarin is used for the mobile version of IFS-Ultimo application.

Requirements

As a front-end developer, you will work in our software development team. Together with this team you work on a complex application comprising various building blocks/modules. This platform forms the basis of various applications that our customers have realized. You will get to work developing user-friendly designers and efficient runtime engines.

In terms of technical stack, you will get started with Typescript, JavaScript and ASP.NET.

• You have HBO/WO working and thinking levels;
• You have demonstrable knowledge and experience with Typescript and JavaScript;
• Although we have our in-house developed framework, knowledge of Angular, ReactJS, Vue or another front-end framework is a big plus;
• You are communicative and creative and always know how to find a solution;
• You make choices about the structure, architecture, tools and frameworks and you can explain these to other software developers and architects clearly.
